Alifonso "Poncho" Sanchez, 55, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away April 4, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born June 10, 1965 in Walla Walla, Washington to Alifonso Sanchez Sr. and Maria Garcia. He married Adelina Sanchez on August 13, 2016 in Uvalde, Texas. He went to school and graduated in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was a manufacturer for James Avery for 6 years. Alifonso was preceded in death by step-daughter, Rebecca Rodriguez. Survivors include wife, Adelina Sanchez; son, Alifonso Sanchez and wife, Jenny; daughters, Jeanette Sanchez, Linette Sanchez and husband, Jose Villarreal, Victoria Rodriguez and husband, Oscar Casarez; son, Albert Rodriguez and wife, Elizabeth; brother, Roland Sanchez and wife, Elizabeth; sister, Diana Sanchez and husband, Marcial; brother, Andy Sanchez and wife, Cynthia; Patricia Garcia and husband, Juan; father, Alifonso Sanchez Sr.; mother, Maria Garcia and husband, Hector; grandchildren, Rodrigo and Leo Rodriguez, Kyle and Katyn Sanchez, Jose, Mia and Zoey Villarreal, Reba Jo Rodriguez and Amado Hernandez, Ezekiel Casarez, Louis, LoAnn and Eli Carey. Visitation will be held from 8 AM-4 PM, Sunday, April 11, 2021 with services following at 4 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville.
