Alice Bridges, 77, of Center Point, passed away on May 2, 2017 following a long illness. She was born in Bosque County, Texas to Albert and Mable (Brake) Sullivan on August 17, 1939. She was a long time resident of Cranfills Gap, Texas before moving to the Texas Hill Country to enjoy retirement. She enjoyed the simple things in life; tending her garden, quilting, fishing, and watching "her westerns", and her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Her door was always open and her heart was always full. \r\n \r\nMrs. Bridges is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oliver Bridges; brother, Arthur Sullivan; sister, Lois McKeever; and grandson, Timothy Dwayne Bridges Jr.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her children: son, Tim Bridges and wife Alison of Cranfills Gap, Texas; daughter, Jannett Pieper and husband Freddy of Center Point; daughter, Sue Cornelison of Center Point; and daughter, Renee Taylor of Comfort; brother, Larry (Doodle) Sullivan of Hamilton, Texas; six grandchildren, Jennifer Dowell of McGregor, Texas, Brian Pieper of Harper, Kevin Pieper of Austin, Krista Kinneman of Center Point, Stephen Johnson of Comfort, and Kayla Taylor (LightBub) of Woodland Park, Colorado. She is also survived by her five beautiful great-grandchildren, McKenzie Pieper, Abigail and Hailey Dowell and Michelle and Bryan Johnson; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nNo services are scheduled.
