Alfredo Zabroky, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Kerrville, Texas. \r\n \r\nHe was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico to Franz Zabrocki and Maria (Muzquiz) Zabrocki on May 10, 1935. He married Carol Keith Roberts on December 23, 1958 in Winterhaven, California.\r\n \r\nHe went to school in Mexico, Holding Institute in Laredo, Texas, Harper High School in Harper, Texas, and Eagle Pass High School in Eagle Pass, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University. He taught school for 2 years in La Joya, Texas and in 1961 moved to Houston to work for chemical companies both in the lab and sales. He served as Vice President of Arjay Chemical Company which he helped found. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and had a big interest in classic cars which he had owned many over the years. Golf tournaments and car shows earned him many trophies.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his infant son, Alfredo Jr.; father; mother; and step-mother, Martha (Weigend) Zabrocki.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his spouse, Carol; son, Robert; daughter, Martha Zabroky; daughter, Suzanne and husband, Gerry Stoepel; daughter, Christina Zabroky; and brother, Franz Zabroky of Saltillo, Mexico. Grandchildren include Travis Zabroky of Chincoteague, Virginia, Austin Zabroky and Zackary Ridge of Boerne, Texas, Beau and Landon Ridge of Fairfax, Virginia, Zabrina Rowell, Alexandria Seibert, Nathaniel Seibert and Jace Stoepel, all of Kerrville; step-grandchildren are Jens Jasperson of Seattle, Washington and Tracey Caddell of Prairie Lea, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Aiyanna and Jayden Ramirez of Kerrville.\r\n \r\nHe requested no services but memorial donations may be given to the Jason Walford Memorial Foundation or the Hill Country Youth Ranch.\r\n
