Alejandra Gomez Tello departed this life on March 19, 2016 at an age of 93 years old, while hospitalized at Peterson Regional Medical Center. \r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her father, Matias Tello; mother, Petra Martinez; and her loving husband, Amador Chavez Gomez.\r\n \r\nAlejandra was born and raised in Matehuala SLP Mexico. Alejandra and Amador married; later making their home in Reynosa Tamps Mexico where she lived the vast majority of her life. In 2013, she moved to Kerrville to enjoy, relax and fulfill the beginning of the rest of her life.\r\n \r\nThe meaning of her name signifies "Defender of Mankind." Our mother was beautiful, full of life, honest, modest, kind, trustworthy, intelligent, respectful, compassionate and tender hearted.\r\n \r\nShe taught us to love, forgive, seek counsel, generosity, security, educated us by her example of being caring and affectionate. She sheltered and guided us with unconditional love.\r\n \r\nShe loved cooking, sewing, making crafts, playing loteria, being outdoors, always helping others and spending time with friends and family.\r\n \r\nWe give thanks and glory to God for allowing her to see her children, grandchildren, sister in law and niece before she departed to her final resting place in the presence of her Savior.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by children, Virginia (Humberto) Salinas, Carlos (Margarita) Gomez and Heriberto (Sylvia) Gomez; grandchildren, Sergio Humberto, Paty, Heribaldo, Gricelda, Cynthia, Carlos Jr., Viviana, Eddie and Sylvia Anne; great grandchildren, Humberto Jr., Alejandra, Anely, Luis Jr., Jose, Alexia, Jorge Jr., Jocelyn, Matias, Carlitos, Ethan and Alex; great great grandchild, Isabella; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held 11 am, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Calvary Temple Church.\r\n \r\n"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
