Albert 'Sapo' Garza, 63, a one of a kind, big hearted husband, beloved father/uncle, brother, loving grandfather, funny, happy, joy-filled soul and a genuine friend who never met a stranger, left to meet his maker on Saturday, May 26, 2018.\r\n \r\nRosary will be held 6 PM, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Deacon Jimmy Bill.\r\n \r\nMass will be 10 AM, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father David Wagner as celebrant.\r\n \r\nBorn in Kerrville on September 2,1954, to parents Jesus and Marcela Garza, Albert became the 13th child out of 19. Living in Kerrville all of his life, he loved his career, retiring from HEB which became like his second home throughout his 30 years. After his time at HEB, he worked as a receiving clerk for Hometown Crafts for six years which allowed him to fulfill his interests of coin collections and house projects.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife of 39 years, Griselda (Dominguez) Garza; children, Albert Jr. (Emma Osorio), Elizette (Rene Morua), and David; grandchildren, Celine Torres, Angela Torres, David Torres, and Nia Garza; great-grandchild, Meriyna Ramirez; siblings, Enriqueta Ruis (Reynaldo), Ramiro Garza (Rafela), Eva Rodriguez (Jimmy), Elisa Hernandez (Joe), Estella Calderon (Eloy), Olga Dominguez (Ruben), Esmeralda Garza, Emma Rosas (Rudy) and Rosalinda Torres (Rudy); and many other loving family members.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse, Reynaldo, Robert, and Carlos; sisters, Esther Trevino, Ernestina Rosas, and Sylvia Centeno.\r\n \r\nHe could light up a room with his joy for life and radiant smile and will be truly missed by family and friends.\r\n
