Al Langston

Al Langston \r\n\r\nAl Langston, 85, a former San Antonio resident, passed away on September 27, 2017 in Boerne. He was born in Jackson Township, Minnesota to Florence and Walter Langston on March 4, 1932.\r\n\r\nAl served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean war. Although he lived in many different places, he settled in San Antonio, where he raised his family.Al was a pilot and loved to fly,self employed in construction during the 60's and 70's. He also enjoyed travel, especially to New Zealand and Australia.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by parents.\r\n\r\nAl is survived by his daughter, Sandie Uptain and husband Kevin of Alvin, TX; sons, Randal Langston and wife Joy of Alvin, TX, Terry Langston and wife Sheila of Bandera, TX; grandchildren, Sara Wood, Chase Langston, Taylor Langston and Jessica Duerler; 5 great grandchildren with another expected in February.\r\n\r\nA Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 Pm, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Bandera Cemetery, 358 St. Hwy 173 North, with Military Honors. \r\n\r\nThose who desire may make memorial gifts to the American Legion Post 157 Bandera, Texas.
