Adam M. Gonzales, 58, of Kerrville, Texas passed away April 5, 2019. He was born in Tahoka, Texas (Lyn County), to Refugio R. Gonzales and Carolina Menchaca.\r\n\r\nHe went to school at Tahoka High School and was a jack of all trades. He worked for and with many in Kerrville. He also worked at the State Hospital and at the Inn of the Hills years ago. He enjoyed dancing and loved being around his family and friends. He was our family comedian, always making us laugh. If you were in a sad mood, I promise if you were around him you weren't sad anymore. Adam was the type that if you called him and needed help on anything he was there. He loved his nephews and nieces; he would give the boys a hard time but was very protective with the girls.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his father, Refugio R. Gonzales, mother, Carolina M. Gonzales, brother, Noel Gonzales and baby Arron Jr.; and many others before him. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his 2 sons, Adam, Jr. Gonzales (AKA Peanut) and Kevin Lopez; 5 brothers, Tommy Gonzales and wife Janis, Rocky Gonzales and wife Lucy, Migel Gonzales and wife Isabell, Joel Gonzales and wife Julie and Arthur Gonzales and wife Jasinia; 4 sisters, Christine Casillas (Roberto), Sally Chavarria (Robert), Flora Ayala (Bobby), Renee Collier (Steve), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and clients he worked for. \r\n\r\nMemorial services will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville. \r\n\r\nHonorary Pallbearers will be all of his nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nA special thanks to the first responders, Mr. Howard Hood, Mateo and his son Jr., and to all those who helped me and my family.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
